Income tax on online income...?

Hi I'm a student/part time web developer. I earn about 200$ a month increasing slowly. The money is sent to me through a check in my name. I'm not sure how I'm to go through tax etc...

The checks are from US, they are in my name so I guess i have to pay some income tax.... Can someone guide me? ideally a blogger who earns online?
Income tax on online income...?
You can file the income tax returns . You need to apply for a pan card before doing this .

You can calculate your income tax for this year from this site

Reply:If your total income would exceed Rs. 150,000 during a financial year then only you have to pay income tax.

Even then, you can save upto Rs. 1,00,000 in PPF, Insurance and equity linked savings schemes of mutual funds and thus do not pay any tax upto a total of Rs. 2,50,000 in a financial year.

If your online income (including other incomes) would exceed this amount, then only you have to pay income tax.
