Is filing my income tax online dangerous? Is it better to go in to an office?

Any Pro's and Con's I should know about? Anyone had a bad experience online?

%26gt;%26gt;It's okay but I still use paper and mail it.
Reply:It's no more dangerous than someone stealing your purse on a high street. As long as your computer is up to date with updates, you have a pop-up blocker and some kind of anti-virus software you should be good.

If your on a wireless router, make sure you have a WPA encryption setup, maybe setup the MAC address filter etc.

Trust me if someone wanted your money they would just hack into the bank and steal everyones details.

I did mine online through Turbo Tax.
Reply:It's very safe. I've used Turbo Tax for years - and it "remembers" your info from year to year so don't have to re-enter the same info over and over. Plus, it asks you lots of questions and then fills in the forms for you - I really like it.
Reply:I have done my taxes online for many years (since 2002 to be exact). I have never had any problems. I think it is easier and safer than giving all my personal info to some high school drop out who makes $8/hour at H%26amp;R Block.
