Well, the first thing to do to research whether something is a scam or not is to google the term and then follow with the word "scam"....like "whatever scam" and then you'll come up with good and bad search results.





The second thing is to realize that you're going to have to invest some money in any business that you start online. You just have to educate yourself so you can use the money you have to invest wisely.





If you just want a job to do online, like typing or data entry, that's a little harder to find.





There are a couple of things I would suggest. If you like to work online, you can start your own blog and put adsense on it where you can make a little money with Google. That's something you can do for free but it takes a long time to get established. You have to learn all about blogging and getting people to your blog because if you have no traffic, you won't get any clicks or money from adsense.





You can also start your own website. I use http:// www.sitesell.com/Eunice1.html . It's a little expensive to start out ($300 a year) but they teach you how to build a website that brings traffic and gets clicks and makes money. Lots of people from different walks of life have their own websites based on their interests and hobbies and make money, not just from adsense but other programs as well.

Reply:most are all gimmicks and want you to invest money to start. the problem is finding out who is a gimmick. like googling the name and see if anyone else has complained about them and if you find one you are successful at let me know.
Reply:There is are so many ways to make money online. Figure out what you are good at and what you think you can successfuly do, and you can make some serious cash. It's not a joke. Here's just a few ideas:





- ebay: sell stuff around the house, find hidden treasures at garage sales, use a drop shipper





- start a blog that provides somethe interesting or valuable. This will drive traffic to your site





- build multiple sites simply for the sake of getting AdSense revenue (here's a blog post that you may find interesting: http://easymlmincome.blogspot.com/2008/0...





- Take paid surveys. They do actually pay you money for taking surveys online. But they can be a bit time consuming becuase you have to take a pre-qualification survey, and a lot of times you won't qualify. So it's a numbers game.





That's just a start, but there are tons of ways to make money online. For a newbie, i suggest starting a blog (look at blogger.com) and strart writing consistantly. It will take some time for traffic to come, so don't give up.
