Why are some not given the priviledge to file their income tax online?

Income tax must be filed by Feb. 11th. As far as why some folks can not e-file well that is a very in depth question with many answers. From what my sister the payroll accountant tells me, if you are filing any one of the basic forms 1040, 1040ez ect. you can e-file. However if you must file an extension or must include a lot of attachments you may be denied the e-file option
